Gee... this thing just refuses to die right?

Debb and i have decided to revive the 2T scrapbook idea :)

here's the plan. We would like you ALL to submit at least one thing that is memorable to you about 2T.... writing, drawing... whatever (sherri, we expect quotes... hinthint) :) but it must be on the comp so we can print a copy for everyone. I have no idea when i'll find the time but i'll try and find it :) and we'll compile it all and well... get a scrapbook! :) Whatever it is you send, collage, writing... ehh. anything, must be able to fill up at least one page. If you want to fill up 100 it's fine with me. you just handle the printing.

You can also send pics and memorable quotes/whatever that we can compile together for a misc page :)

Anything that's too big to email or to msn over please stuff it in a thumbdrive or something and hand it to me...

everyone please send something! If not we'll make something for you! :) and please get the message to Placida and Vivienne

We might also need to collect a bit of funds for printing and all... so please be prepped :) And then perhaps we shan't have to keep on reminiscing online about 2T anymore... 'kay?

If anyone knows someone we can go to to print please LMK... if not we're going to have to split one cartridge of ink between ourselves... lol! perhaps more.

i can't take it anymore. i've tried, i really have, but i can't let go of 2t enough to make myself a part of 3t. i miss 2t soo much. i didn't realise how much until mep period today. mrs chan didn't come, so sherri, tiffy and i sat in for mrs ng's lit class. and it felt like i came home. maddie, clare, grace and mich h were also in the calss, so it was like old times again. mrs ng making fun of sherri and all the silly jokes and stuff. i spent the whole period just watching the class, as though from the outside. well, our half of the calss i mean. 2t. and it just felt so right. like we were always meant to be together. i doubt i was even concentrating. the only thing my mind was telling me was "this is right. this is how it should be." hearing maddie laugh so maniacally made me miss her so much. and mich h's plain silliness. and of course, mrs ng. i've had almost a two and a half month mrs ng hiatus, and today, i felt that everything was right again.i never realised how much i took 2t for granted. i always assumed we would be together no matter what. the possibility of being in a seperate class from my best buddies never occured to me. i wish it had. i would have appreciated all of my classmates sooo much more. i miss you all so much. and now, the really really really late 2t dedication whatever:1. Amanda.oh my goodness, i miss you soo much. my little bean sprout! i miss sitting in front of you and talking nonsense with you and going out for study groups and all. i miss turning around and watching your vibrate about in your chair with laughter at some silly thing someone said. thank you so much for being such a great friend, lending me all those manga(!), studying with me and always being so thoughtful.2. Don't worry, i'm sure it'll all sort out in time... We are 'SBC' anyway and so are the 2M'ers... so we'll just give you some time and then the great divide will grow a lot of mould which will decompose into base minerals and in some time it'll form enough soil to fill it up :D

Okay... everyone knows now that i'm weird... who didn't? *raises hand*. the poor CH teacher for our class.. she's going to have her hands full this year with me and mich and debbo... :)

At any rate.. in answer to your question sherri, 3G is a bit better owing to the fact that half of the 2T members disappeared to S1 orientation :) so we're all over the place and have gone through a few rounds off intros.. (until the eng teacher realised and told us to introduce each other instead).

Yay! we have lit tmr! :) it's going to be exciting :) i think 451 is a very much more interesting book than well... :) TKAM... a lot more interesting... i managed to actually hold my attention to it voluntarily! :) lol

Tell you what.. i'm going to start an SBC blog.. then we can all go there and party! if anyone wants to change the theme or whatever then pls go ahead! the Gi won't feel so outcast over here anymore :)

Hello 2T^_^

Well,how's the new school year been so far?I hope the past two days have been fine for you - won't say anything about adjustment because it's only been two days and anyway quite a few of us are involved in S1 Orientation.

How's 3G?As a member of 3T,I only know how everything is in your class by what I see through your windows when we walk past.I hope you're not scarring your new classmates for life xD Well over here in 3T,we're still getting used to each other.To put it nicely.Let's just say you could part us like the Red Sea just by getting us to change to a four-table per side formation.2G is on one side and 2T is on the other,with 2M/new people scattered here and there like gas particles.Ms Bong calls it the Great Divide.With luck and some effort we'll get used to it soon.Not really talking that much to the 2G people either,I'm to blame as well.^^;;;

Maybe it'll work better if we think of ourselves as simply 'SBC Sec 3',rather than '2T','2G',and '2M/others'.This classification will only alienate others,especially our new classmates.And at the end of the day,we will only be alienating ourselves by such labelling,and we'll end up stuck in a metaphorical well for the next two years and beyond.At one point we had this 'clique' stuff on a smaller scale in 2T,and look what happened?^_^ We can make this work too!So jia you^_^ I'll try my best too.

Anyway.I can't join 3G for Lit lessons because Humans periods are combined,awww.But the 3TG Lit[Afternoon Shift] loves the 3TG[Main Shift] members all the same!^_^

Made a bad impression on 3T's new HCL teacher who formerly taught at ACS(I).He probably thinks I'm a freak of nature who is obsessed with blood and gore,and practises swordsmanship in her free time.Eheh.

Is there honestly nobody at all who cares that the MEP people have 2 hours and 40 minutes(+45min composing class time) of MEP a WEEK!?T_T Oh well,I shall simply have to stop thinking of ways to die so I can miss MEP every five minutes during the lesson then,or I'll be diagnosed with clinical depression or something.-_-""Sheesh.

On another note,History Elect is gonna be SO FUN xD Looking forward to it!~

Ah well,my mother might be coming out of the room soon,so I'd better finish quick.Got an absolute ban on the computer imposed after all.(doing this illegally)

Everyone, I typed out the class list on my blog. Go check to see what class you are in, but I'm not sure whether it's like, the confirmed one yet. I saw it in school today, when I went for a LTC Meeting. So yeah.

Namely, I think they spilt us up by HMT. If I'm not wrong? I don't know. But they put the quite loud people in 3G (Cheah, Clare, Hwang + Lina! :O) together and most of the live-wires, I guess.

Vetting by the school doesn't have to be done, we can always use it outside instead. (Like going to ECP/Somewhere else for outings, and not for school use.) Please?

Instructions for Friday 23rd of November 2007

Sorry, i've been doing a little HTML since i picked up a post on an online game so let's see if this works.

As you all probably know, the results for subject combination and classes will be out next friday. So, here are the instructions that i got from Mrs Ng.

You do not have to go to school! please check LEAD.com for the class list. Our guess is that the Half lit people will be going with the MEP girls. But that's all speculation... guess next friday will be judgement day.

This is mrs ng's exact reply to me:

The streaming results will only be out next week. You can get results from LEAD. Go 2 mg website 4 updates. plse let the rest of 2T know. Thanks :-)

So if sherri wants to annotate it and give me a different intepretation then fine.. email to to me :)

Any questions please ask me or ask mrs ng. Also can someone please tell me when the results come out because LEAD doesn't support the browser i'm using and i can't check everyday.

Also. please pass this around the sec 2 cohort and 2T because they don't really know what's going on either. And i barely know what's going on either. If anyone has any info that disputes this info please LMk immediately.

Deb, please send me the list of who to potluck really soon. It was due like, yesterday.

Things Booked:
The Function Room is booked

The necessary places for the Treasure Hunt are booked

There will be NO lunch provided. Only finger food (Potlucking)

Everyone should come at 1 (So that you'll be in time for the Treasure Hunt) and everyone should leave latest at 5 (Because the Function Room will be taken away by then).

Reminder to self: I must pass the cheque by TODAY.

To answer Anna's question,
Deb's supposed to appoint people to bring certain foods. We are not sure who, but I think Roxanne is supposed to bring nuggets or something along those lines. Not everyone must bring, but everyone is required to bring $2 for the class fund (For pizza/KFC, & other props in the Treasure Hunt).

These are the LA text formats you need to know for the EOYs.Click and save the images,then print them out if you don't have them already(or if you lost them).and please learn them by next Tues(2/10) =)

As for LA3,(the lit paper),re-annotation or annotation (if you have not done it yet..well shame on you) might be a good idea.Gogogo^^

Oh yeah, Anna, sorry for mutilating your post but it is illegal to do that (i believe) and the fact that you know that it might be illegal is bad enough. 2T rocks! haha! anyhow, i'm mainly here to add on to the list of homework and remind you of all the MEP THINGS.

2T MEP GIRLS:
for the upcoming CONCERT that is compulsory on the 7TH SEPTEMBER, next FRIDAY, at 7:30PM at the ESPLANADE, do WEAR a DRESS cause it's the dresscode! get it?! (: quite a few of us (i.e. cherry, samantha, jessica, janice...) are already wearing a dress, for 1. fun 2. in support of roxanne wearing her dress. heh apparently she bought a tube dress (because 'it looked nice on the display!') so she may as well wear it, yeah? (: furthermore, it'll be a super cool group photo, when we take one (:

20th September - MEP LISTENING JOURNAL* due and MEP TEST**
25th/27th September - MEP PRACTICAL***

Max: Half a page for each piece
1) Baroque - 1 Movement from a Corelli or Vivaldi Sonata de Camera or Sonata de Cheisa
2) 1 Minuet & Trio or 1 Scherzo & Trio from a Trio or Quartet by Hadyn, Mozart or Beethoven
3) 1 Movement from a Romantic period quartet
4) 1 Movement from a 20th Century Quartet (i.e.Debussy,Ravel,Bartok,Shostakovich) or Jazz Trio or Quartet

**topics for the test are as follows:
1) 20th Century Quartet
2) Word Setting
(note: you may want to know the basic forms we learnt for the previous periods as well as it is used again in 20th century i.e. sonata i think)

***all violinists on 25th if i'm not wrong. you are required to give a copy of the score to the examiner i think. you have to play TWO CONTRASTING pieces of at 5-10 minutes long. violinists play one accompanied, one unaccompanied. the criteria is as follows:

1. Accuracy of notes and rhythm
2. Choice and control of tempo
3. Sensitivity to phrasing and expression
4. Technical control of instrument
5. Range of technical and musical skill demonstrated

it adds up to a total of 50 marks i think, which is 50% of your overall grade, if i'm not wrong.

Haha.. lols i'm freeloading again since i'm too lazy to start my own blog. But since everyone's posting then well... i shall post too!

Thanks all you guys for all being great friends. I do hope that we'll all be able to keep in contact even when we all break to diff JC's.
Looking back.. i can't believe that i was complaining about our class being a load of geeks 1 1/2 years ago (yes i did... not in front of you guys of course :) but wo de ying xiang jiu gai bian le!) but then again, that's just an example of how wrong we can all be. Well, I don't know how i don't know when, but 2T has for some reason, managed to bond together... seriously, we have such a huge lot of diff personalities that are polar opposites but we seem to all be so close (like.. uhh, Clare and me vs. yu ting and placida?) i guess you all get the idea.

Well, there are definitely things that we will all never forget. Should I ever forget, I'll be depending on you guys to drum it back into my brain ^^. lols...

All you ppl rock :) i know we all have disagreements sometimes (A lot of times it seems :) ) but then again, we're still a class. Just let it tide over. I'm sure do hope that we'll all stay together.

Pst... everyone.. I'm working on a vid for 2T like the one they showed aft kaizan, the photos one :) It's currently a few mintues long because there are just so many pics and that's just Kaizan pics! I'll be calling for pics soon :) so that i can continue. the idea is by jess, but i'm not going to let any of you see it until i'm done (haha.. lols.. by that time it'll be pretty long because of all the stupid pics that you guys all take... just make sure that i don't put you to sleep!)

Headline: Uniform Ditched for a good cause.

Little was seen of the familiar blue and white uniform at MGS yesterday.

instead, it's students came stylishly togged, in ways they felt expressed who they were. the school was among the 106 across the island who participated in TNP's 'Be yourself' day

This day, marked annually at participating schools, is a way to raise funds for the president's challenge: the students can ditch their uniforsm for the day if they make a donation to the cause.

All in, MGS will put $37,473.43 into the presiden'ts challenge, an annual event which benifits 32 charities

Apparently, for those of you who don't know, our school raised the most amount in any school.. so yeah :) for those of you who bought those funny coloured pink muffins i guess then it's kudos to you! ><
Okay, so that's in jest. Thanks for all your hard work. *I did buy a muffin and a pizza and they were nice* and for the pink muffins, it was just the icing. :) It's all for charity and we all appreciate your hard work. (Personally, the muffin itself tasted good. so i don't care).

Hey people. Here's the thing...
Yousendit only has 1GB bandwidth and that means only about 5 people got the photos that sherri sent. Can these 5 send them to someone else(s) so that they can also propogate the photos by yousendit. I think manda also has tons of photos so please save bandwidth for that one too!

For those with secondary email addys or any other addys that you have please sign up for multiple accounts and the use those too (I'm not sure if it's allowed but it should be... yep it is :) ) I just signed up for the second account. Look our for links to Manda's and Sherri's photos when i get them.

The 5 people who actually have the photos can you contact me? So that i can get them. Jess had to sleep so i didn't get them. Manda's having some difficulty... with some luck we might have the 2nd batch of photos for more ppl to download... For those that don't check the blog. Please ask them to come online! So that we know how many more yousendit accounts we need to spread the pics (haha.. for those that don't check we need their accounts too!)

ytd night i had this massssive headache x( actually i still have a slight headache now. just came back from the doctors and i have a feverrrr. it was the weather ytd! think i got a chill. anyway, i have 2 days MC! which includes today. haha though i might be going to sch tomorrow. gee i think i contribute the most number of MCs to the 2t pile of MCs. hahahaha LOL XD

anyway, about BYD.
it's supposed to be fun and all, not make us stressed or angry! being stressed really defeats the purpose right? so THEREFORE, i dont think anyone should be angry/fessed up about what to wear. JUST BE YOURSELF. and im sure the rest of 2T loves you just the way you are, right? <3>. AND IT'S THE LAST DAY OF TERM 3 for goodness's sake. make it happy! (though i know there's plenty of reasons to not be happy. academically.) plus, you are adding to my current headache, which is already killing me. xP

There are 3 options:

3) Car Crash Victims/War Victims

I think we should go with our original plan.

1. I don't think we'll get our toy guns confiscated.
We shall ask the teachers first, for permission. Cos I think a Sec 1 class is bringing a bazooka. So we should ask for permission, and not just assume that our toy guns will get confiscated, etc.

2. Even if it's really warm and in the Quad, it won't kill.
Will it kill you, just to be enthusiastic for once?

3. We have things compulsory for various reasons.
So please stop arguing. If you want to argue, supply it with new and better suggestions that are feasible.

Reasons being that without guns and cool shades, you will not be able to look anywhere near MIB. Plus all those questions about dark blue pants and all that-- please, PLEASE make it black. Unless you want to dress as an oddball for an entire day.

Go ask others for things to borrow. I refuse to entertain complaints about not being able to afford stuff, and that it's not worth buying it. You can always borrow. Let's not be self absorbed, just do it, for the class's sake, not your own.

Everyone, let's all just be enthusiastic and willing to have some fun. It's not everyday we get a BYD. Let's just make this a pleasant, memorable day. Just cooperate, discuss. If you don't like an idea, dispute, BUT come up with a good suggestion. Don't just disagree and complain. It doesn't help much.

Let's just enjoy BYD, and the fact that it exists, and that we actually get time as a class together.

I finally managed to log in after a week or so.I meant to make a post last week but ended up not doing so because of...my stupidity.Believe it or not,I spelt the password wrongly.An impossible,gargantuan feat only one individal(separated from the rest by her ridiculously low amount of intellect,if any) in our class could possibly ever hope to accomplish.If you still can't tell who I am,come join me and make that two people.What say ye?

I wonder who invented number patterns?It's too bad s/he/it is already dead - I'd relish the experience of personally killing him/her/it myself.To exact vengeance on said person for making Math lessons purgatory on earth by doing so.Not only is this person sorely lacking in intelligence - she is sorely lacking in the ability to spot patterns!(Of course,expected from someone with an intelligence quotient less than her age.Positively brilliant.xD)4.5 for the Math test.I'm royally screwed - as though I wasn't in the first place.Number patterns will only help to increase the depths of despair,and draw me further into an abyss of decay and misery...

I apologise for abusing this channel of internal communication among members of 2T purely for the sake of going on a selfish rampage of ranting and whining.Whatever it is,I hope those currently feeling the same anguish that I am will get out of it soon and cheer up.I know what it's like - I for one am constantly at the bottom of the barrel.

In any case,as great fortune-teller and see-er of the future,I shall tell you that we shall be very much occupied next week.MEP test,CL test,and everything that's due.

I'm suffering from a severe case of writer's BLOGk.(pardon the bad pun) I'm afraid I'm rusty - it's been a long time since I last sat down and blogged properly.I'd suggest you don't take me seriously - my brain has been weakened by my succumbing to the allure of sugar in the form of churios about half an hour ago.I believe I am no longer in a state of considerable sanity.(Which probably further helps you to guess my identity.It's the little things which give away the big picture.)I just wasted myself on green tea and sugar.I'm having a 'hangover' in the form of a moderate migraine,though whether it's the sugar high,hypersensitivity to light or heavy bass bursting from my speakers,I don't know.

It has just come to my notice that the majority of paragraphs in this entry start with the letter 'I'.

I have also realised that none of the things I've written so far seem to have any logical link or relevance to the other things in this entry.

It practically feels sacrilegious to use a loose term like 'things',when more precise words could have been used instead.

those who passed and are happy, well good for you but still try harder... :)

how is everyone? as usual, i'm super bored, so i'm blogging here! whoo! haha. we had mr ~~siao~~seow's farewell today and bea (c,d,e,f,g..race's lame joke) baked a really delicious oreo cake! xD bake more, bea! hahaha. yeah. there was racial harmony day celebrations today as well! the performance was quite cool! don't you think so? (: other than that, nothing much? rawrr. we have 2 math worksheets for homework ): oh welll.. wait. that's all right? wahaha so since it's the weekends and we have hardly any homework, you 2Tians have no excuse to not post! xP

yeah! haha i shall make you all suffer a lame joke xD

The answer to the problem was "log(1+x)". A student copied the answer from the student next to him, but didn't want to make it obvious that he was cheating, so he changed the answer slightly, to "timber(1+x)".

hi 2T, today we presented our history speech which was quite fun, rite..? boo... to swat for winning, get to boss us around for a week... and we also had physics experiments, even though i think we mainly dun really __________ (fill in the blank) lessons n ________(fill in the blank) character...

hope you all had fun and study really hard for math test tomorrow, i personally find it challenging as i dun remember much on variations. dun worry, most of us can just do badly together! gd luck ppl:D
